Experience

Having worked in the IT industry for over a decade, in particular in the e-commerce sector, the MSB consultants have an indepth understanding of commercial website requirements. Also, they understand the requirements of web based applications both in user experience and technical best practices. Integration with existing applications is well understood.

There is a strong belief that good software design and development leads to a significantly better product both on the day of release and during subsequent expansion work.

The MSB has worked either directly or indirectly for both small companies (with as little as one employee and less than £10,000 turnover a year) and large (multinational) organisations in the public and private sector. The MSB consultants have a variety of approaches to web design, content and programming with a range of products and prices to match.

Qualifications

In addition to over a decade of working in the IT industry, the MSB consultants are qualified with an MSc level in Computing Science and have a number of other system specific certificates.

It is firmly believed, however, that it is experience in the field that provides the best education and is equally our best recommendation.

Technology

The MSB consultants mainly specialise in Microsoft technologies, the majority of sites are programmed using .Net and C#.

Our web sites are built to the strict XHTML standard using markup that is as representational of the data as possible. CSS is used to provide as much of the presentation layer as possible. We consider the accessibility of our sites as equally important as their function and form.
